NIPPON STEEL & SUMIKIN SG WIRE Group encourages the following activities under our basic philosophy.
- Respect for environmentally related laws, regulations and ordinances.
- Promotion of continuous environmental improvement through environmental management systems.
- 1) Promoting energy-saving processes and new product development, and reducing our use of energy and other resources such as water, electricity and fuel.
- 2) Reducing or eliminating emissions and spills, while strengthening management of chemical materials such as acids and alkalis.
- 3) Promoting reuse of resources while reducing and thoroughly separating industrial wastes such as plastics and sludge.
- Contributing to environmental preservation efforts in areas where we are located.
